Boca de Veludo from the 2011 harvest is produced from grapes harvested at a high level of maturity, with a colour reminiscent of garnet with violet hues.
On the intense and complex nose, black and red fruit aromas such as cherry and raspberry stand out, along with cocoa, chocolate, tobacco notes, eucalyptus, and aniseed bay leaf, all well-integrated with the wood ageing notes. On the palate, it reveals itself as full-bodied, with velvety tannins and fruity flavours. It finishes long with smoky and spicy notes.
