The Contracena Fernão Pires Curtimenta white, made with the distinctive Fernão Pires grape variety, defies convention by fermenting for 7 days in a wine press with indigenous yeasts.
After ageing in French oak barrels and a cement tank, it reveals a golden colour with orange nuances. On tasting, notes of tea, citrus fruit, orange blossom, light toast, honey and dried fruit stand out. With a medium body and round tannins, its freshness and persistence enchant until the very last sip.
