1932 Real Vinícola Vintage Port
Description
Founded in 1889 the Real Companhia Vinícola do Norte de Portugal, known in the popular jargon as the "Real Vinícola" generates, at the time of its creation, an enormous confusion between the two Royal Companies, the new and the Old Real Companhia dos Vinhos do Porto. And it is through the voice of the people and the commercial jargon that the Pombaline Real Companhia founded in 1756 began to be known as "Real Companhia Velha" and to use that designation as a commercial brand.
The century-old Real Vinícola created under the auspices of the Marquis of Pombal became over the years a merely patrimonial company being acquired by the renowned Fladgate Partnership, owner of major Port Wine brands such as Taylor's.
