The wines of Adega de Arruda are from the wine region of Lisbon. The terroir of the region and its Atlantic component, along with the concepts of quality applied in the creation of vineyards, provide excellent conditions for the production of red wines, robust, nervous and with great character as well as light and fruity whites. Although didn’t exist massifs or significant altitudes in Arruda region, predominantly relief slope, the orientation of the valleys and the Atlantic proximity, influence its climate that is characterized by mild temperatures, average rainfall, no late frosts and humidity of air. The most suitable soils for vine cultivation have geological origin in the Jurassic and can be referenced as predominantly clay-limestone.
