Description

The wine was vinified after a careful selection of grapes and an extensive maceration to obtain a wealth, intensity and colour for the Vintage Port. The fermentation was stopped, adding alcohol to produce a naturally sweet wine. Dark in colour, it features notes of dried figs and plums. Medium bodied, with firm tannins and a long finish.

Barros is an outstanding brand in the Port wine history, since its foundation in 1913. Following a solid and successful path, confirmed by several prizes and as result of an energetic trade policy. Its brand positioning in the market has granted strong recognition, especially in Colheitas, a Port wine category in which Barros is regularly awarded.
