The vineyards of the Abreu Callado Foundation, all planted next to Benavila, date back to the mid 50's, and some of these pioneer strains are still in production today. There are about 52 hectares of loamy-loamy lands, benefiting from the climatic amenity that the Maranhão Dam provides, and which is reflected in the quality and excellence of the wines, whose technical responsibility is enólogo Engº. João Silva e Sousa. Also located in Benavila, the winery maintains traditional methods of vinification and aging, along with modern techniques (cold systems, protected and automated filling unit, stainless steel tanks as a complement to cement tanks, etc.), having the capacity to store two or three consecutive harvests.
