Fonseca is part of the first category of wine producers in the Vintage Port since the middle of the 19th century. The Fonseca Vintage Port wines are known for their exuberant fruity that develops great opulence and complexity with age. Their wines appeal to the enthusiast and connoisseur, perhaps more than the Vintage Ports of any other house because they are an inspired production and a deep knowledge of viticulture and terroir.
The best Fonseca since the perfect 1977. Intense aromas of cassis, violet and plum. Medium sweet and overflowing with fruit and flavours. A wine of great mass and concentration.
