Description

Quinta do Castelinho, located in the municipality of São João da Pesqueira, was acquired in 1964 by Manuel Santos, giving rise to Castelinho Vinhos, a family-owned project dedicated to the production of Port Wines and DOC Douro wines. In 2001, the estate became part of Douro Wine Devotion, which already owned Quinta do Cerro da Nora.

Following a major renovation in 2005, Quinta do Castelinho now features a fully refurbished winery equipped with state-of-the-art technology, combining tradition and modernity. It is here that grapes from the main Douro grape varieties are vinified, producing wines that express the identity of the Douro through a balance of heritage, innovation and attention to detail.
