Quinta da Zaralhôa is located in the Douro Superior, one of the sub-regions of the Douro Demarcated Region, world-famous for the Port Wine and also because it is the oldest demarcated and legislated region in the world. A family farm where tradition and knowledge of the older generation blend with the modernity and innovation of the new generations. They produce quality wines that express the unique characteristics of the terroir and the personality of the Portuguese native grape varieties. With a philosophy of minimum intervention, where efforts are concentrated in the vineyard, in order to obtain the best possible raw material, always with the concern of a sustainable development. The microclimate of this region, together with a soil rich in schist and the vineyard arranged in levels, create conditions for authentic wines with an excellent quality.
