2012 Max Ferd. Richter Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenhur Auslese Riesling Cask 61 white
Description
Founded in 1680, the winery has more than 300 years of family history, always with the motto: Great wines are made in the vineyard, not in the cellar. The first documented purchase of a vineyard - a plot in Brauneberg - dates from April 17, 1643. The manor with French garden was built in 1774 by the grandson of the company's founder. In 1880, Max Ferd. Richter built a modern winery that houses one of the largest and most extensive wooden barrel cellars in the Mosel. The winery is currently in the 9th generation of the family, having already a member of the 10th generation, Constantin MF Richter, since the summer of 2012.
