Description

Vale da Veiga stretches from Foz Côa to the Douro River, where the landscape is dominated by the geometry of vineyards on schist slopes. The wines made from Douro grape varieties and a blend of old vines denote the personality of the terroirs. This reserve red wine is produced from the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz grape varieties and old vines aged between 70 and 100 years. After ageing 12 months in French oak barrels, it has an intense ruby colour, lively aromas of ripe red fruits, smooth and elegant.
