More than 50 years tell us the history of Adega Cooperativa de Portalegre, a Wine Cellar that, across the years, has been accumulating knowledge and experience and has wisely combinied the unique location of their vineyards with Man’s work. It was in 1954 that a group of people joined together to turn the grapes of associates and founding members into wine. The first great wines of Alentejo were given birth taking advantage of vineyards’ excellent location on S. Mamede slopes.
