Description

Pathernos Reserva red wine is produced from the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz grape varieties from the old vines of the property. It has a clear ruby colour, fruity aromas, and some spice. In the mouth, it is velvety, fresh, and persistent, having aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.

Cabanas do Castanheiro is one of the new wine producers in the Douro region, which emerged as a project of the Paterno Dia family, based on the production of high-quality wines. With 17 hectares, we highlight plots such as Quinta dos Gambozinos with old vines, which originate wines of excellent quality, aromatic, concentrated, and deep, vinified in schist wine presses with foot treading and controlled temperatures, combining traditions with modernity.
