Description

The Bojador is a personal project of the producer Pedro Ribeiro (Herdade do Rocim) that materializes its old dream of turning into wine the connection that it has with the Alentejo. It is a project that began in 2010 in Vidigueira, in what is, for him, "a unique place with an age-old tradition of dedication to the vineyard and wine". In the Bojador, a selection of the blocks of old vineyard that best express the terroir where these wines are born and which, for Pedro Ribeiro, are "mineral wines, fresh, elegant, emotive and authentic". The planted varieties are Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, Tinta Grossa and Moreto in the red; the white ones are Antão Vaz, Arinto, Alvarinho, Perrum, Roupeiro, Rabo de Ovelha and Manteúdo.
