Descendientes de J. Palacios was born in 1999 when Álvaro and Ricardo decided to start a project together and named it after Álvaro's father and Ricardo's grandfather, José Palacios.

The winery, built on a hillside, uses gravity for the winemaking processes. In the vineyards, which currently cover 35 hectares, the production and maintenance processes revolve around biodynamic cultivation.

Over the years it has been very interesting to observe the evolution of this project, which has come to give even greater prominence to the Bierzo region, proving its ability to produce unique, compelling wines worthy of ageing.
