Description

The Quinta do Passadouro is located in the world renowned Douro valley, on the left bank of the river Pinhão. The owners of the estate are the Bohrmann family, in partnership with Jorge Serôdio Borges. Jorge's philosophy underlying his wines is to achieve balance, with maturation and retention of good levels of acidity being particularly important.

Over the past few years, major investments have been made to modernise the vineyards and to install modern equipment to produce high quality still wines. Port wines, however, still come entirely from the foot treading method in traditional granite lagares.
