Description
Vinha de S. Lázaro Touriga Nacional is a wine produced from grapes grown on limestone soils and aged for 12 months in new French oak half barrels. The aroma is well concentrated, with ripe fruit and a vegetal touch of dry grass and truffles. On the palate, it is rich and voluminous, revealing lots of fruit and soft tannins, with a toasty, long finish.
Creating a wine is an art that in Portugal we have been perfecting over centuries, today reinforced by greater knowledge and better means.
The experience acquired over time by João Portugal Ramos, leads him to believe that a wine reflects the nature of the land that saw it born and is the expression of those who produce it. Knowledge, experience, and technology allow him to rigorously perfect the various factors that influence the personality of a wine.
