Description

The Vinha do Contador is an outstanding red wine from the Dão region, crafted from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Alfrocheiro grown on granite and sandy-loam soils. Aged for 24 months in carefully selected French oak barrels and further matured in bottle, it displays remarkable aromatic complexity, with ripe wild berries, balsamic nuances, dried tobacco leaf and beautifully integrated oak. The palate is fresh and elegant, supported by silky tannins and leading to a long, harmonious and refined finish.
