The Vinha dos Amores white by Casa de Santar is made exclusively from the Encruzado grape, showcasing the elegance characteristic of this variety in the Dão region. It displays an intense citrus colour with greenish highlights and a complex aromatic profile, featuring notes of dried apricot, exotic woods, toasted cereals and vanilla. On the palate, it is harmonious and refined, with great elegance and a long, persistent finish.
Located in Dão wine region, Casa de Santar is a very old producer. The house from the XVII and XVIII Centuries, surrounded by hedges, boxwoods and labyrinths of flowers, has a winery built in granite, with its historical tiles, it houses in an ancient environment the most modern and advanced technologies. Top quality wines are produced here, in a 400 year-old structure. Casa de Santar wines, was elected Producer of the Year, by Revista de Vinhos (Portugal).
