Winemakers Daniel Jiménez-Landi and Fernando García, inspired by a cartoon Superhero series from the 1980s, decided to christen their winery with the same name, whose aim for both is to save historic vineyards on the brink of extinction and produce one of the best wines in Spain, rescuing a local economy by practising ecological and sustainable viticulture.
