Pedigree vintage 2016 is produced by multiple grape varieties of the old vineyards of the property, whose grapes harvested by hand, selected and fermented in presses, using the yeasts naturally present in the grapes. It finished its 24 mses maturation period, in which 50% of the lot matured in new French oak barrels and the remaining 50% in used barrels. It has an intense aroma of forest and black fruit, balsamic and spicy notes. In the mouth it is fruity, with firm and very well integrated tannins. It presents a good acidity and a long and tasty finish.
A family with roots in the Douro region, more specifically in the sub-region of Cima Corgo with deep connections to the land, the vineyard and its customs. They are committed to the production of quality grapes for sale to the great Port wine producing houses and also carry this dedication to their own wine production.
