Description

João Póvoa is part of a small group of wine producers that shook Bairrada in the early 90's, producing traditional red wines with Baga variety. Was in Quinta de Baixo were some of these mythical and sumptuous wines where produced - Quinta de Baixo 1991. In the new project Kompassus, which has that name because great references of the company comes by the association to the beat of tighter Vineyards - 1.7m, reproducing an older and endangered technique. This results in greater competitiveness among plants, a more controlled production soon qualitatively superior. Currently the pair João Póvoa and Anselmo Mendes, elevate the brand to a more ambitious and demanding horizon.
