The origin of the Adega Cooperativa da Labrugeira, ACL, dates back to 1973, from the initiative of 85 winegrowers, having seen its first grape harvest in 1975. Nowadays, it represents 437 associates with a total area of 620 hectares. Located in the municipality of Alenquer, it is currently the only cooperative winery in this municipality, thus representing all the cooperative winegrowers in this area. With a strong tradition in the production of quality wines, the winery has been gradually improving its structures, being one of the wineries with the largest and best response to the oenological demands.
