Description

Château Phelan Ségur wines have their origins in a magnificent Saint-Estèphe terroir where power prevails. Strengthened by its origins, Château Phelan Ségur has created its identity based on elegance and finesse. With a certain restraint and great precision, it reveals the purity of its fruit, the precision of its structure and the softness of its tannins, all with a natural freshness. After long ageing, it reveals a bouquet of rare complexity and harmoniously integrated. This subtle and authentic balance creates an intense emotion.

The 2017 Phélan Ségur is medium to deep garnet in colour with pronounced aromas of cassis, black raspberries, kirsch and violets with slight notes of cedar, earth and cigars. On the palate, it proves to be medium-bodied and elegant with great intensity, fine and firm tannin, finishing long and intense.
