Description

Figueira Coriga Reserva is produced from the Trincadeira grape variety and aged for 30 months in French and American oak barrels and 6 months in the bottle. It has a compact ruby red colour and a nose of ripe, jammy fruit and rock-rose aromas. The mouth reveals a medium body, silky texture, and balanced acidity, where at the end of the mouth the notes of sweet grass blend with the soft tannins of wood.

To preserve all its organoleptic characteristics, this wine was not filtered, so with the passage of time, it may present sediments.

Figueira Coriga is a growing family project, located between Estremoz and Borba, on the Dolomite heels of the Ossa Morena limestone massif. Here blend and single varietal wines are created, which naturally reveal the expression of ripe fruit, complexity, and freshness.
