Periquita is renowned for being Portugal's first ever bottled red. That’s where its originality comes from. And in existence since 1850, we’ve been around to celebrate the Portuguese way of life: laid-back, relaxed, warm, fruity and with a spicy nose. That’s what Portugal is all about and that we want you to enjoy.
Regional wine produced in Terras do Sado, from the chaste Castelão (79 %), Trincadeira (10.5 %) and Aragonês (10.5 %). It aged during 4 months in French and American oak. It presents a ruby dark colour, with a fruited fragrance with notes of vanilla, strawberries, roses and violets. The taste is soft, fruited and balanced, with were pleasing tannins.
