Description

Palato do Côa wines originate in the Douro Superior, near the Côa Valley, from vineyards planted on schist soils under a climate marked by significant diurnal temperature variation. These conditions favour balanced ripening and result in wines of concentration while retaining freshness and aromatic definition.

Produced from traditional regional grape varieties, they combine fruit intensity with structure and elegance. Depending on style and ageing, they may show notes of red and black fruit, spice and subtle wood nuances, supported by firm, well-integrated tannins.

Wines that reflect the character of the Douro Superior, designed for the table and with good bottle ageing potential.
