Description

Following the oenology of Manuel Lobo de Vasconcellos and Joana Silva Lopes, Perescuma Selection is obtained from Syrah (40%), Touriga Nacional (30%), Alicante Bouschet (25%) and Aragonês (5%), grapes harvested manually, carefully selected and vinified in stainless steel vats. After the fermentation process, the wine ages for 6 months in French oak barrels, giving it an intense aroma of red fruits, such as blackberry and plum, accompanied by soft and structured tannins.

In 1969, the Lobo de Vasconcelos Family founded the Agricultural Society with its headquarters in Herdade da Perescuma, in order to integrate the Herdades do Barão and Bonical, totaling an area of 2400 hectares between wine production, livestock and forest exploitation. The privileged location next to the Alqueva dam's reservoir allows the development of wines which are pleasant to drink and the landscape surroundings make this estate enviable.
