Powerful "old gold" colour, with golden to amber highlights. Bright, clear, and transparent. The aroma of yellow fruit jam such as quinces, pears, apples, and other nuts such as chestnuts and walnuts. Slight earthy notes, resins, fine woods, and dried spices. In the mouth, the dried fruit notes are striking, with good body and persistence. Dry, with balanced acidity.
In the municipality of Bragança, in the village of Parada de Infanções, we find the only wine produced in the area. The vineyards are centenary, free-standing, more than 120 years old, where around 20 different varieties abound. Due to the age of the vines and the traditional processes of planting and grafting, it is possible to find different varieties in a single strain, making the viticultural process even more interesting and the final result a distinctive product with a peculiar and very curious complexity.
