Description

Château Suduiraut, Premier Cru Classé in 1855, is one of the historic Chateaux of Sauternes. A rigorous selection, in the vineyard and the cellars, ensures the production of the wines of Château Suduiraut, which represent the successful expression of this exceptional terroir.

Certified High Environmental Value, the estate consists of 91 hectares of vineyards on sandy clay soil, whose stones capture the heat of the sun and allow the grapes to reach maturity more quickly. As proporções escolhidas das castas são decisivas no perfil único dos vinhos. 90% das variedades de uvas das vinhas de Suduiraut são compostas de Sémillon e 10% de Sauvignon Blanc. Sémillon é uma casta tradicional da região e quando é afetada pela podridão nobre, a sua estrutura na boca é ampla e traz muita gordura e doçura ao vinho. Sauvignon Blanc is full of citrus aromas, white peach, and exotic fruits, giving the blend a touch of acidity, a guarantee of freshness, and aromatic complexity.
