2018 Herdade do Peso Parcelas red

A single Harvest selection from selected single vineyard block, this wine is created with minimum intervention as the best expression of the site. In 2018, Plot 21, Alicante Bouschet, was the exceptional “Parcela”.

A ruby-red colour, this wine has great aromatic complexity with prominent notes of well-ripened red fruit, black figs and pepper. A powerful and incredibly fresh wine, it is firm and well-structured with bold yet silky tannins. A long finish.

Sogrape Vinhos has about 830 hectares of vineyards in Portugal. Since 1942, Sogrape Vinhos has been investing in the main Portuguese wine-growing regions and, of course, the Alentejo region has always been the desire to implement a project capable of offering the consumer the quality of Alentejo wines. Thus, in 1998, the acquisition of the Herdade do Peso property was accomplished, which quickly positioned itself in the national market for its ability to offer different levels of complexity and styles of wines.
