Description

Niepoort launched its first rosé in 1999 and more and more rosé wines arouse great passions, this being one of the reasons why Dirk Niepoort persists in making his Redoma: a Douro rosé with a very own character.

Contrary to the typical rosé winemaking process, Redoma Rosé is fermented in new French oak barrels after the drop must is obtained. Very lively and elegant on the nose, with red fruit and spices, with very well-integrated wood toast. Great freshness and length, with volume and good structure, showing well the complexity of older vineyards. Without a doubt, a rosé with many attributes for the good table.
