Description

The Zuccaro red wine is produced from a vineyard where 16 different varieties can be identified and aged for 30 months in new, medium toast French oak barrels. It is red in colour with purple nuances and on the nose reveals aromas of ripe fruit such as plum and spices very well integrated. In the mouth the tannins are round and expressive, finishing with a floral touch.

The Quinta Alta project was born in 2000, when a Brazilian couple, Fernanda Zuccaro and Chico Santa Rita, fell in love with the Douro and decided to give life to an old dream. Thus, based in the parish of Ervedosa, it currently owns 7 hectares, mostly with vineyards.
