The grapes that produce this Douro wine come from vineyards planted in schist soil, where the climate is hot and dry and the temperature ranges are quite variable. The Quinta do Carvalhido red wine presents itself with a garnet red colour, revealing in the nose, intense aromas of blackberry and red plum, combined with vanilla notes. In the mouth it is well structured and balanced.
