Description

Surrounded by a stream where the water flows every year even in very dry years, it came to be called Quinta do Ribeiro Santo by the Priest. It was acquired by Carlos Lucas' family in 1994, who immediately replanted their vineyards, starting the production of their first own-brand bottled wine in 2000.

The vineyard follows the traditional Dão way, planted on poor granite soil, with large rocky outcrops, from where the Serra da Estrela can be seen, and its wines mirror the terroir of the Dão, involving its typical grape varieties.

Magnum-Carlos Lucas Vinhos was founded in 2011, in Carregal do Sal and is intrinsically linked to the producer and winemaker that gives it its name and to Quinta do Ribeiro Santo, where it has its headquarters and winemaking facilities.
