Description

Borges Reserva Douro is a red wine produced from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cão grape varieties. It has an intense ruby colour and a complex aroma with menthol and orange blossom notes, along with some red fruit such as strawberry, and a finish with cocoa and vanilla aromas. On the palate, it is a wine with a lot of flavour and volume, presenting mature and soft tannins. The finish is long and persistent, with excellent acidity that gives it a lot of freshness.

Founded in 1884 by brothers António and Francisco, the Borges Wine Society quickly became one of the main national wine companies.
