Description

Contraste red is produced mainly from the Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional grape varieties from 40-year-old vines planted on schist soils. Aged for 18 months in used French oak barrels, it is characterised by the purity and expression of the fruit with notes of wild berries, black cherries, a floral touch and nuances of tobacco, eucalyptus and graphite. It's a dense, fresh wine with a very long finish.
