Since 1937, the company Caves do Solar de São Domingos has been producing sparkling wines, old brandies, bagaceira brandies, Bairrada, and Dão wines. Its galleries house more than two million bottles of sparkling wine, many thousands of bottled wines, and hundreds of French oak vats for its famous brandies. The Aguardente Bagaceira "São Domingos", produced in its stills, continues to lead the market with the same quality as ever.
