Vinsanto is a historic Tuscan sweet wine served on public holidays, important occasions and shared at social gatherings. The grapes are left to dry for months, as tradition dictates, and then gently pressed. Fermentation and ageing take place over a period of at least 2 years in small oak casks, resulting in a dessert wine with natural residual sugars.
Amber with copper-colored hues, the nose offers a kaleidoscope of aromas with warm notes of dried apricots, candied orange peels, persimmons and dates , along with spicy notes of saffron and amaretti. In the mouth, the first perception is a dense, buttery sensation, followed by salty, linear impressions on the mid-palate, which give the wine a persistente and fresh finish. Perfect with desserts and all varieties of blue cheese.
