This Late Bottled Vintage has been aged for 5 years in oak barrels and has a deep ruby red colour, enhanced by intense purple reflections. The intense and enveloping aroma reveals ripe notes of blackcurrant and blackberry, with hints of raspberry, cherry and a slight touch of wild herbs, liquorice and coffee. On the palate, it is rich and fruity, with the perfect balance between smoothness and structure. It is fresh, fruity and has a long, persistent finish.
Quinta do Noval is one of the oldest Port houses and one of the most prestigious, producing most of its wines from its grapes, namely all Vintage Port wines. Noval also produces one of the most emblematic Vintages ever produced in the Douro, the Quinta do Noval Vintage Nacional.
