Pian delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino is ruby red in colour. The nose shows a complex bouquet of black cherries and blood oranges, which lingers with hints of violets, vanilla and light balsamic aromas. The palate is fresh and flavoursome, with silky, elegant tannins. A long and persistent finish defined by notes of citrus fruit, delicate aromas of spices and hints of vanilla.

The Antinori family has been dedicated to wine production for over six hundred years. Since then, in 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member of the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri. Throughout its long history, spanning 26 generations, the family has always managed this activity directly, making innovative and sometimes brave choices, but always maintaining unchanged respect for tradition and territory.

Tenuta Pian delle Vigne is located 6 km southwest of Montalcino. The estate consists of 184 hectares, 65 of which are vineyards and represents the personal and profound interpretation of the Marchesi Antinori, mirrored in a wine as prestigious and traditional as Brunello. The estate has been owned by the Antinori Family since 1995, the year of the first vintage of Brunello Pian delle Vigne.
