Description

Quinta do Carvalhão Torto White is produced from the Encruzado grape variety. It has a citrus colour with golden hues. Delicate aromas of fresh fruit, reminiscent of pear, apple, and citrus, combined with the mineral profile typical of this grape variety from the Dão region.

Quinta do Carvalhão Torto is located in Nelas, the geographic centre of the Demarcated Region of Dão wines. Its history is indelibly linked to wine production, as it has been owned by a family with ancestral ties to this precious nectar and its "know-how". Its 7 hectares of vineyards have an average age of 40 years and are planted at an altitude of 450 meters on granitic-quartzitic soils. The constant search for typicity, genuineness, and sustainable vineyard management makes these wines as interesting as they are surprising.
