Description

Zambujeiro Especial 2019 is the result of a careful selection of grapes from the best plots of old vines at Quinta do Zambujeiro. It is an exceptional wine, produced only in the best years and in very limited quantities. Its aroma is deeply complex, with notes of dried flowers, black tea, cedar and smoke. It's a red wine with an intense structure, firm but balanced tannins, full of black fruit, with a creamy and impressive finish, full of fruit and supported by a fresh and balanced acidity.

The Quinta do Zambujeiro is located in the wine sub-region of Borba, north of Serra D'Ossa, enjoying a perfect microclimate for the production of top-quality wines. It was founded in 1998 by Emil Strickler, an enthusiastic wine lover. With about 31 hectares of vineyard, the wine is produced in its own newly built cellar, equipped with the best technologies.
