The Domaine Leflaive is located in the village of Puligny-Montrachet, an area famous for the production of great guarded white wines in the Côte de Beaune. The history of this Domaine dates back to 1920 when its founder Joseph Leflaive carried out a major restructuring of the family vineyards in the commune of Puligny. The current manager, his granddaughter and heiress, is Anne-Claude Leflaive, who heads the project on behalf of the rest of the family.
His wines, and those of the region, are known for their concentration and opulence, while always maintaining a fine, mineral and fresh side that characterises the great whites of Burgundy, and Leflaive is undoubtedly one of Burgundy's great names.
