This wine is produced from the Aragonês grape variety, whose grapes are harvested on the slopes facing Penela Castle. After a traditional transformation process, here it presents itself rich in colour, with a mature profile, highlighting the fruity, chocolate, and smoke aromas. In the mouth, it is intense, complex, and challenging.
On the Criveira hillside, with southwest exposure and with a stunning view over the Penela Castle, wines are produced, as a result of the ingenuity and art of the people of the locality of Terras de Sicó, to which traditional and new oenological techniques are combined, without neglecting the richness and strength of the history that surrounds them.
The wines come from the Beira Altlântico region, where the soils are predominantly of a clayey and limestone clay nature, giving the raw material which comes from them, an incredible freshness.
