This wine is produced from the Arinto and Fernão Pires grape varieties, whose grapes are harvested on the slopes facing Penela Castle. After a traditional transformation process and with minimal human intervention, this white wine is yellow, with a mineral profile, highlighting floral aromas. In the mouth it has a more pronounced taste, fresh and with notes of grapefruit.
On the Criveira hillside, with southwest exposure and with a stunning view over the Penela Castle, wines are produced, as a result of the ingenuity and art of the people of the locality of Terras de Sicó, to which traditional and new oenological techniques are combined, without neglecting the richness and strength of the history that surrounds them.
The wines come from the Beira Altlântico region, where the soils are predominantly of a clayey and limestone clay nature, giving the raw material which comes from them, an incredible freshness.
