Monte Bluna Reserva is a distinctive wine of superior quality and obsessive detail. Made from the best grapes of the vintage year, the entire process of building this wine is meticulous so that it can boast an immaculate and surprising profile. It is a wine that presents itself in a deep and shiny straw yellow colour, with aromas of orchard fruit such as white plum and citrus fruits of extreme elegance, notes of green tea, and delicate hints of Ribeira mint, involved by well-integrated wood notes that reveal sweet spices, dried fruits, and brioche. In the mouth it is elegant, exquisite, and balanced, showing substance and vibrant freshness. The finish is admirable in its length and complexity.
Monte Bluna starts its journey in the wine industry when it acquires a small parcel of 40-year-old vines in the Lisbon region. The 6 hectares at altitude, flanked by the Atlantic Ocean and the Tagus River, are now exploited to create wines, that express a unique and harmonious character, in total balance with the environment.
