White is produced by Encruzado grape variety, coming from vineyards with less than 1 hectare, constituting a selected and concentrated lot. After 4 months in French oak barrels, with batônnage applied, appear with bright citrine colour, elegant aromas highlighting the white pulp fruits, and slight toast. In the mouth it is elegant, structured, and unctuous, finishing with balanced.
The Quinta do Porto Nogueira was founded in 1738, in the first half of the 18th century, and was always in the possession of the same family until the second half of the 20th century. The current owners acquired it at the beginning of this 21st century. The estate's 20 hectares of vineyards are planted in clay soils, marked by the influence of the natural microclimate of the foothills of the Serra de Todo-o-Mundo and by the proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, about 20 km away. A vineyard without irrigation that gathers unique characteristics, an unequalled freshness, and the bearer of a natural salinity. Thus, the wines are marked by their singularity.
