Description

Produced from Chardonnay grape variety, harvested and selected by hand, it presents a fruity aroma, predominantly mango, papaya, and apple. This is a wine with good acidity, minerality, and a persistent aftertaste.

Herdade Canal Caveira is located on the border of two great wine regions, Setúbal Peninsula and Alentejo, between the slopes of Grandola Hill, where it receives the maritime influence of the Atlantic Ocean, projecting a unique microclimate.

With about 45 hectares, 25 of which are planted with vines, Herdade Canal Caveira is not only focused on vitiviniculture but also the production of olive groves, orange groves, cork oaks, holm oaks, and pine trees.

The vineyards are planted on sandy soils and have about 18 different varieties, broadening the profiles of the wines, making them elegant, complex, and persistent. This is a perfect terroir for the production of quality wines that meet the demands of wine lovers.
