Description

The Adega do Fundão Touriga Nacional red wine is produced from the Touriga Nacional grape variety and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. It presents an intense ruby color, revealing aromas of wild fruit and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is dense and balanced, with mature tannins and a persistent and elegant finish.

Adega do Fundão was founded in 1949 by the hands of 30 viticulturists from the Beira Interior region and is located in Cova da Beira, an area of vineyard culture dating back to the 2nd century and the Roman settlements of that time.

The vineyards are planted along the Gardunha Mountain, which allows the production of grapes that impart an unmatched richness, freshness, and exuberance to the wines.
